Important News from LCHS . . .
Dear LCHS Families & Community:
Please show a warm Leadville welcome to a young displaced family that has come from Houston! We are in need of clothing and essentials for an 18 year old young woman, 4 year old girl and 8 month old boy. They need diapers in size six specifically at this time and gift cards for groceries/Target/Walmart, etc. would certainly be appreciated.
Clothing sizes:
18 year old girl – Junior’s size 3 and size 7 ½ shoes (needs pants and shoes especially)
4 year old girl – 4T clothing, size 9 shoes
8 month old boy – 9- 12 months clothing
Essentials are also needed such as diapers (size 6), baby wipes, feminine hygiene products and toiletries, toys, a car seat, and grocery/Walmart gift cards. Anything would be appreciated! Please contact Mona Cloys at 719-293-4273 or the DOOR Program at 719-486-6980. Items may also be dropped off in the high school main office between 7:30am and 3:30pm Monday through Friday.
As you know, we have switched from Power School to Schoolrunner for Gradebooks. Your students have access to look at their grades and other data in Schoolrunner. Your log on to check is the same as theirs. If you don’t have access please contact your student’s crew teacher to get this access.
In Schoolrunner you will have access to your students’ grades, attendance, any behavior data as well as their performance on other assessments such as ACCESS, PARCC, PSAT and SAT. There may also be other internal assessments that you can see on your students profile page as well. If you have questions about these assessments or data you are welcome to contact your student’s crew teacher to learn more about what they mean. Additionally, we will go over all of this data with you and your student during fall conferences. Schoolrunner is helping us better serve your students as we have greater access to their academic data. We look forward to talking through it with you all in October.
