Impressive Performances from LCHS Athletics During Homecoming Week!
The LCHS Athletic Teams put on many impressive performances over the last several days.
The HS Volleyball team got things started when they traveled to Jefferson HS, where they defeated Jefferson 3-1 for the second time this season. Volleyball then traveled to Manual HS on Thursday were they defeated Manual HS 3-0.
The HS Cross Country teams traveled to BroomField Commons on Friday to compete at the Frontier League Championships. The HS teams had a number of personal best times in the final races. The girls team finished 6th and boys 8th over-all with the following individual results:

Just as the Cross Country Teams were pulling into Leadville Friday night ,the HS Football team was starting their game vs. Rye. They played an incredible game. They were down 6-13 heading into the fourth quarter. They then scored 3 touchdowns in the 4th to win 24-13 !
.Finally on Saturday afternoon the Boys Soccer team got their chance. They did not want to be left out of the fun and did not disappoint. They beat the Bennett Tigers 2-0 to cap off a great Homecoming Week!!
