News from LCHS
Welcome to a new school year, LCHS families! Hoping your summer was just the right mix of adventure and relaxation!
Thank you to all of the families who have completed your student on-line registration! If you have not registered your students yet for this school year, please do so now at this site: http://www.lakecountyschools.net/student-registration-information/
Returning students will use the snap code information contained in the registration packet mailed to you in July.
If you need some help or just need to use our computers, there will be two on-line registration help sessions at the schools, West Park, LCIS, and LCHS. One session is Tuesday, August 6, 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm and another is on Tuesday, August 13, 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Hands-on assistance will be available for both sessions in both Spanish and English. Here at LCHS the help sessions are in our technology lab, room C121, just follow the signs when you arrive through the HS main entrance.
When you have finished registering your students, be sure to sign up for your orientation conferences for August 20th or 21st, using that same link. When you come to LCHS for your orientation conference, Lifetouch will be here taking students’ school pictures. Students must have school pictures taken for their school IDs even if you choose not to purchase any pictures.

As always, the best way to stay informed and up to date with LCSD and LCHS happenings is to regularly check our web sites and web events’ calendar:
We will continue to send weekly family text and email communications, usually on Thursdays, and if there are any important communications necessary in between.
Student athletes: be sure you are registered for school and have checked “yes” for athletics then completed each part of the on-line athletics registration information.
