Sixth Grade Soil Conservation Poster Contest

The 6^th graders recently participated in the Soil Conservation District Poster Contest “Local Heroes: Your Hardworking Pollinators”. The students spent time learning about the different types of pollinators, and the plants they pollinate. Students demonstrated their learning by creating a poster to be judged by The Soil Conservation District. Twelve winners were chosen, the top three earned a cash award. The winners are represented here, along with Ray Dawson, and Kevin Cannell. First place was awarded to Jocilyn Holbrook, 2^nd place to Emily Romero, and third place to Diana Soto. Honorable mentions were: Liliana Olave, Desaree Pedregon, Brenna Allen, Julissa Chavez, and Jude Hill.   Way to go 6th graders!
