LCIS SNSO 1/12/20
Dear LCIS Families,
It’s been a great first week back to school! Students and teachers have enjoyed reconnecting with each other and everyone is easily falling back into following our school-wides systems. Please encourage your child to bring their winter boots and clothes every day as they have recess in the snow twice daily.
Third grade students are learning how to find the area of a quadrilateral. Here they are finding the area of a variety of rectangles through their hallway.
Thursday folders this week contained your child’s progress report. Be sure to have a look at it with your child and celebrate the learning and set some goals for semester two. Thursday folders also contain the homework for the week as well as any special announcements or fliers. Please continue to provide time and space for your child to work on the homework.
Sixth grade students will participate in a snowshoe leadership experience this week. The schedule is as follows: Monday-Ms. Beery’s class, Tuesday-Mrs. Prongrekun’s, Wednesday-Ms. Forget’s class. Please make sure that your child dresses for the winter weather!
February conferences will take place on February 11th and the 13th from 4-8 and on February 18th from 10-6. We will send out the Flash Appointment Link soon!
Project Dream is excited to announce FREE tuition for any family whose child attends after school programming to the following Colorado Mountain College classes: ESL G Suite and ESL GED. Contact Kelli McCall for more information at 719-486-4207.
