Home Visits for preschool families
Don’t forget that this week teachers will be conducting Home Visits with all preschool families enrolled at The Center on Thursday and Friday, October 13 and 14.
Here at The Center, we believe that a child’s parents are his or her first and most important teachers. We are proud to be your partners in your child’s education. Home visits are designed to help develop that partnership and connect you to what is going on the classroom in an easy and comfortable way. This time can help your family to get to know your child’s teachers better, and you can ask whatever questions you have face to face and in the privacy of your home.
During your Home Visit, your child’s teachers will collaborate with you to set educational goals for your child in each of the areas of learning and development, such as literacy, physical development, and social skills. They will also show you examples of what your child is doing and learning at school, and give you your new practice packs. Your child’s education will be stronger thanks to this time you spend monitoring his or her progress.
If you have not made your appointment with your child’s teachers, please contact them as soon as possible to do so. We are really looking forward to seeing you.
Please note that because of home visits, The Center will be CLOSED Thursday and Friday, with no preschool or child care services offered on those days.
