Lake County Public Library – Even when the library is closed, you can use the free resources on their website at https://www.lakecountypubliclibrary.org/home – The Overdrive page gives access to ebooks. Kanopy is a streaming film service. Online learning resources include 76 different programs, including ABC Mouse, Mango Lagnuage Learning, encyclopedias, and a wide range of other classes for children and adults. Log in using your library card number. Library cards are free to all Lake County residents. The library is currently offering online sign up for library cards on their website at: https://lakecountypubliclibrary.org/services/librarycards
Go Noodle https://www.gonoodle.com/ Go Noodle has music and movement activities. Teachers often use this in their classrooms, so your children may already have favorite videos.
PBS Kids https://pbskids.org/ Here you can find videos and games to support learning in a fun way. You’ll recognize some of your own childhood favorites and find some new friends as well.
Scholastic https://classroommagazines.scholastic.com/support/learnathome.html The same company that provides order forms for books and book fairs also has free online resources for families.
Lakeshore https://www.lakeshorelearning.com/resources This website has ideas for home activities and lots of printable pages. You can even make your own word search.
ABC Mouse https://www.abcmouse.com/redeem Preschool families can create an account at this learning website using the code SCHOOL1532 The program can be used on computers, tablets, and smartphones, and you can add up to three children per account.
Second Step www.secondstep.org Second Step is a curriculum used at The Center to help kids learn social-emotional skills. Preschool families can sign up for an account to access Home Links, brain games, and book recommendations.
