Title IX requires that every school district or institution have a Title IX Coordinator to whom concerns or complaints regarding sex discrimination can be made.

Complaint Process
Students or parents/guardians should report their verbal or written Title IX complaint to the school administrator detailing when the alleged incident occurred or first obtained knowledge. Complainants have a right to a timely and informal resolution at the school site.
If the complainant is dissatisfied with the school-site decision the complainant may file a written complaint directly with the Title IX Coordinator. Policy AC-E-2 is our Nondiscrimination/Equal Opportunity complaint form and can be found here. This will begin the investigation process which must be completed in a timely manner. An appeal of the Title IX Coordinator’s findings may be made to the Superintendent of Schools. An appeal of the Superintendent’s finding may be made to the Lake County School Board.
