Dear Parents/Guardians of Friday Project Dream Students,
Many of the students that attended Project Dream Friday today went to the ice rink this afternoon with our GOL! Partners. The ice rink is open to the public Fridays and Project Dream students are carefully supervised by their leaders.
While students were at the ice rink today, an individual not part of our programs went into the bathroom and was trying to self-harm. Local law enforcement was contacted to deal with the situation. No Project Dream students saw the incident; however, they did see the law enforcement vehicles and were aware something was going on.
This information is for you as the parent/guardian in case your student mentions anything about the situation.
