LCSD Schools Closed Friday, March 8

Student and staff safety remains our top priority during this extraordinary snow storm. We have continued to consult with the Lake County Office of Emergency Management, county and city regarding current and forecast weather and road conditions. Up to an additional 18” of snow is predicted between now and Friday evening in Leadville, which will continue to make travel hazardous in the city and the county. In the interest of student and staff safety, the school district will remain closed tomorrow, Friday, March 8th. This includes all schools, after school programs, athletics and The Center preschool program. Please stay safe!
