Performing Arts Department Cancel Events

Dear Lake County Students, Parents, and Community Members,

We at the Lake County School District and our Performing Arts Department are committed to the health and safety of our performers, production staff, volunteers, and patrons during these unprecedented and challenging times. Due to the extended school closure, our department has had to make very difficult decisions for the remainder of the 2019 – 2020 season. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the following cancelations and that these events will not be made up at a further time:

                April 16 – 19: All Performances of ONCE ON THIS ISLAND 

                May 7: Elitch Gardens Music Festival (5th-8th Band and Choir, and HS Concert Band)

                May 12: 5th – 12th Grade Roses Awards Concert

                May 14: 3rd – 5th Grade Spring Concert 

Students who paid to attend the Elitch Gardens Music Festival will be credited to attend the festival in 2021.  Students who are moving from 8^th grade to 9^th grade will still be able to attend as well as current 6^th graders moving up to LCHS.
