Welcome to Lake County Elementary School!!
The Lake County Board of Education was joined by members of the Naming Committee for the BEST building at the Jan. 12th meeting.
Their recommendation to the board was Lake County Elementary School. The name received the majority of votes and will represent coming together of the West Park and The Center staff. The building will house Pre-k through 2nd grade and will serve all neighborhoods of the Lake County Community. The new name will also align with the other schools in the district.
The board had a unanimous vote in support of the new name and thanked the committee for their time and commitment to the process.
We would like to share some of the progress with you of the great work going on at Lake County Elementary School!!

The building is scheduled to be completed for the fall semester 2021 and ready for students! It is likely that some exterior work will continue throughout the fall and will be completed summer of 2022.
