CCHS News and Announcements
Welcome back CCHS students!
Cloud City Families:
Today was our first day back to school and it was great to see all of our students who were in attendance. We are in a DisOrientation Week this week and that means that all students will come from 10-5 daily. Wednesday we have our NWEA testing scheduled. Students will have early release that day once they are done with their testing. I also wanted to be sure that you all knew about our Community Dinner this coming Thursday the 6th at 5pm. All families are welcome to participate and you can indicate on the form below whether you would prefer to pick up a carry-out meal or to reserve a table for your family.
- First Annual CCHS Winter Community Dinner, Thursday, January 6, 5-7pm, please RSVP here!
One final note is in regards to our attendance, phone, and tardiness policy which we went over with students today. We are working to get students ready to succeed in the workforce by expecting them to be on time and ready to learn. To this end we will be catching students who have more than three absences sooner in order to talk about how we might support them better with coming to school. Students who are tardy will not be allowed into class. Our school has a 30 minute soft start so students can arrive anytime within the first thirty minutes, but after those 30 minutes (after 10:30 am) they are considered late. Phones are allowed during breaks, between classes and during lunch. Students are not allowed to be on their phones during instruction time. Students who are having challenges with being ready to learn by having their phones out during class will need to problem solve this with me. Thanks for your support!

Colorado youth now have access to 3 free behavioral health sessions! Any parent or youth can go to https://imattercolorado.org/ to assess their own/their child’s needs. If the results show they need help, the site will connect them to a provider for a 45-minute appointment in the next two weeks.
