CCHS News and Announcements
Hello,
It was wonderful to see all of you students and families at orientation conferences! If you missed your orientation conference, please reach out to your crew teacher, and get that set up ASAP. This is preferred to occur no later than the first week of school.
CCHS staff has been hard at work the past two weeks getting ready for our DisOrientaion weeks. Just a friendly reminder to students that you should consider wearing comfortable clothing and shoes during these first two weeks as we have several outdoor and physical activities planned. Bring a water bottle and possibly a jacket if the weather turns on us. Students, remember to bring your Work Based Learning contracts with you on the first day of school so we can accurately schedule you in the correct courses. If your student will be riding the bus next week, please contact Joyce LaCome, 719-486-6801 or 719-221-1017 during work hours today or tomorrow, to find out the bus pick up times and drop off times.
Parents, just a friendly reminder that CCHS is an open campus, meaning students are free to sign out and leave when it is convenient for them, and they are not scheduled in a class during that time. However, if students are absent from their scheduled course parents will be receiving phone calls throughout the day. Please make sure that you have all reviewed the Absence Policy within the Student Handbook and call in if your child will have a scheduled absence. Looking forward to seeing all students on Monday, August 15th no later than 8:30am!
