Cloud City High School Family Newsletter<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we have seen many students highly engaged in wrapping up their current classes and completing artifacts and write-ups for their portfolios to demonstrate proficiency. We have also seen some students who are struggling due to limited engagement throughout the semester. For those students, attendance has played a major role. Please take a moment to review your child\u2019s attendance and progress with them. Reach out to your students Crew Teacher if you have any questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next week is a very full and exciting week:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monday:<\/strong>
<\/strong> \u2013 Community Meeting, during Crew
\u2013 Announcement of November\u2019s Student of the Month
\u2013 Recognition of students who earned awards for highest growth on their NWEA assessments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday \u2013 Workforce Boot Camp Trip<\/strong>
<\/strong> All students are expected to be at school by 8:25 a.m.<\/strong> for an 8:40 a.m. departure<\/strong> to Denver for our visit to the Museum of Nature and Science. Attendance is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday \u2013 Portfolio Defenses<\/strong>
<\/strong> Students who are ready to graduate will present their Portfolio Defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upcoming Break<\/strong>
<\/strong> Winter Break will be December 22, 2025\u2013January 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DisOrientation Week<\/strong>
<\/strong> All students are required to attend full days<\/strong> on:
\u2013 Monday, January 5
\u2013 Tuesday, January 6
\u2013 Wednesday, January 7
\u2013 Thursday, January 8
This important week sets students up for success in second semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student Senate Toy Drive<\/strong>
<\/strong>Our Student Senate is collecting new or gently used, unwrapped toys for their annual Toy Drive. Please consider donating\u2014details are on the attached flyer.
