Cloud City High School Family Newsletter<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It was wonderful to see so many students dressed up and enjoying prom. It was truly a special evening filled with celebration and great memories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week has been a busy one at CCHS. Students have been completing their third and final Oral Reading Fluency assessment, along with NWEA testing. Talmage also took a group of students on an award trip to the Aquarium and Zoo in Denver. It sounds like they had an amazing time and created some great memories together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students, we are in the final stretch of the school year, and every minute counts. We have noticed several absences this week, and we want to encourage everyone to stay focused and committed through the end of the year. Finishing strong is important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wednesday, May 20, will be our Workforce Boot Camp. More details will be shared next week. This is an important event, and all students are expected to be at school and participate for the entire school day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mental Health Matters This May<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

May is Mental Health Awareness Month\u2014a great time to check in on your student\u2019s emotional well-being. Stress, anxiety, and end-of-year transitions can impact how students feel and perform. The School-Based Health Centers through Elevated Community Health<\/strong> are here to support students with a safe, supportive space and access to care right on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking ahead to summer, select School-Based Health Centers will remain open<\/strong>, so students can continue receiving care even when school is out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayo es el Mes de la Concientizaci\u00f3n sobre la Salud Mental, un buen momento para reflexionar sobre el bienestar emocional de su estudiante. El estr\u00e9s, la ansiedad y las transiciones de fin de a\u00f1o pueden afectar c\u00f3mo se sienten y se desempe\u00f1an los estudiantes. Los Centros de Salud Escolar a trav\u00e9s de Elevated Community Health<\/strong> est\u00e1n aqu\u00ed para apoyar a los estudiantes con un espacio seguro y acceso a servicios directamente en la escuela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CE team at CMC has been working hard to run another FAFSA\/CASFA event to help remove barriers to access our Locals’ scholarships (many outside scholarships require this be completed as well).  CMC is currently running a national survey to collect data on our CE student experience.
