LCES Parent Update 1/21/2022
LCES Families,
Thanks for a great week at LCES! It was great seeing so many students back in class this week as COVID numbers in our community start to level out. Please remember to send your student with a mask every day. We will continue mask wearing and increased hand washing throughout the day to help keep our students healthy and in school learning. Please continue to keep your student home if they are not feeling well. We do have testing available at school if your student is having any symptoms and you want them tested.
We had so much fun on Friday during our Panther Pride Day. Students completed crafts, played fun games, and danced during specials all together. The theme was snow. Here are some highlights from the day:
Do you have a day or two each week that you would like to work in our schools? We are hiring substitute teachers. This is a great opportunity to get involved in our school community and make a few extra dollars. Please reach out to Bunny Taylor for more information.
Smart Bellies:
Smart Bellies, a meal program based out of Summit, is ready to go in Lake County! The program offers nutritious food over the weekends, holidays, and extended breaks to families who have opted in.
