LCES Weekly Update 10/7/22
LCES Families,
Thank you for another great week at LCES! Students are starting their monthly trips to the public library to check out books. While books will not be sent home, students will be able to read these books at school. Be sure to ask your child about their library trip and what books they got to read.
Principal Parent Night:
Join Mrs. Pongrekun, Principal of LCES, for a Principal/Parent Night on Wednesday, October 12th from 6-7PM in the library. This is an opportunity to learn about our school goals for the year and to ask questions about the work we are doing. I will also be giving an update on our new CKLA curriculum implementation.
Parent/Teacher Conferences:
Our parent-teacher conference time is drawing near, and we are making plans for this event. This year our conferences will be held on Wednesday, October 26 and Thursday, October 27, from 12:00-8:00pm. Each appointment will be 30 minutes long. Please remember that on these days, we will dismiss at 11:00 am for the regular bus routes and parent pick up. There will be no project dream on these days due to conferences.
Please follow the link below and pick the best date and time for you to meet with your child’s teacher. You will receive a confirmation email – if you do not receive the confirmation email, please check that you have completed all the steps in setting up your appointment.
