LCES Family Communication 12/16/2022
12/16
LCES Families,
We have wrapped up our first semester of learning and are excited about all the work we have accomplished this semester.
Spirit Week and Classroom Celebration Highlights:
Book It Update:
Please keep reading and filling out your Book-it calendars. We are in the process of trying to find a new award for turning in your Book-it. As of right now if you turn it in, your child will still receive a pizza coupon since there are still some Pizza Hut’s opened in Colorado.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
Parent Engagement Team:
Would you like to be part of our parent engagement team? Come January 5th from 6-7 in the library here at school to learn more about what this team will look like and to start planning parent engagement opportunities for K-2 families. Thanks so much for your willingness to be a part of this team.
Clothes Donations:
Students might have an accident and need undergarments, maybe spilled food on themselves, and we can help them get changed and cleaned up so they can be clean throughout the rest of the school day. For that, we need to have some emergency supplies at the school.
If you or anyone you know would like to donate, we are in need of pants sizes 5-10 for girls and boys. Pants are our highest need but we can use and appreciate anything we can get. Thank you all for your support!
Thank you all for a great week. Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Calendar Feedback Survey #3
Our last calendar survey asked for ideas from our stakeholders on ways we can improve the current school calendar. We have compiled ideas that were generated. Please provide your feedback on the ideas that have been generated. We will use the feedback from this survey to move forward into planning our future calendars. This survey will be open until January 6th at 5PM.
