News From LCHS 5/26/23
Good Morning Lake County,
This is our final week with our seniors. This morning we got pranked. It was full of whimsy, love, and respect. Our kids are the best! We will greatly miss them. Next week we will wish them well on their way to adulthood. We will honor them with pride and love. Our community may be sad to see them go, but the rest of the world is honored and privileged to welcome them.
If you are the parent of a Senior please click HERE for information regarding graduation!
Please remember Monday May 29th is Memorial Day and we will not have school but the kids will have a full school day Friday June 2nd!
Thank you,
Brian Nelson,
LCHS Principal

Athletics:
Keira King is Lake County’s latest state champion! She won the 1600 meter run at the State Track & Field Championships last weekend. In addition, King was 2nd in the 3200m run and 8th in the 800m run. Susie Bullock was also added to the Wall of Champions in LCHS for her 2nd place finish in the pole vault. Jace Peters wrapped up his high school athletic career with a 2nd in the 800m, 4th in the 1600m, 4th in the pole vault and 6th in the 3200m. Amara Olsen and Matthew Wilson also earned medals in the pole vault, and the girls’ 4x800m relay team of Clara Kirr, Indigo Olsen, Tal Sheleg and Violet Hill finished in 8th.
If your athlete (from any sport this year) has not yet turned in their uniform, please turn it in to an office or a coach ASAP!! Fines will be assessed and must be paid before a senior is able to collect their diploma.
