LCHS Kick to Finish

Dear LCHS Families,

We continue to see many of our students demonstrating behaviors that contribute positively to the learning environment we strive for at Lake County High School. As we approach the final three weeks of the semester, we are launching a “Kick to Finish” initiative to end the semester on a strong note.

We are seeing some students excessively tardy and/or students out of class for extended periods of time. For the last three weeks, if students display these behaviors they will be referred to a support staff member who will assist the student in contacting their family. These phone calls will be an important piece of communication as we navigate next steps for supporting students. 

We encourage you to have a conversation with your student about this initiative and the importance of being in class as we wrap up the first semester.
