It is so wonderful to have students back in our school buildings. We look forward to beginning classes on Monday at 8:00 am. We will see A-Day students on Monday, B-Day students on Tuesday, and virtual students will complete some Crew assignments from home next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Here are a few back-to-school\nreminders:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>If you did not attend an Orientation Conference this week, you <strong>must<\/strong> watch the orientation video before you start classes next week. See Mr. Cairns when you arrive at school to watch the orientation video.<\/li><li>Be sure to do your health screening at home before you come to school<\/li><li>Wear a mask and bring your water bottle<\/li><li>Always bring your chromebook to school fully charged, and bring your charger with you<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The 2020 Back-to-School List for Teens\u2019 Emotional Well-Being <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Link to article is<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2020\/08\/25\/well\/family\/teens-mental-health-needs.html?referringSource=articleShare\"> here.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be sure to complete and submit your application for Free and Reduced School Meals as soon as possible, if you have not already, so that the application can be processed and eligibility determined <strong>BEFORE<\/strong> the first day of school on August 31<sup>st<\/sup>. <strong><em>Even if your student is participating in LCSD\u2019s virtual option, you will still need to complete an application to be eligible for free or reduced school meals beginning on August 31<sup>st<\/sup>. <\/em><\/strong>Applications can be turned in at any school front office Monday-Thursday 8:30 am \u2013 3:30 pm, or mailed to Leslee Torsell, Lake County High School, 1004 W. 4<sup>th<\/sup> St., Leadville, CO 80461.
