Students are settling into routines, learning is well underway, and there is a lot of positive energy across the building. We are excited about the start we have had and grateful for the partnership of our families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few highlights from this week:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learning is underway. In classrooms we visited this week, we saw students engaged, focused, and settling into strong learning routines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thank you for joining us at Back to School Night! We appreciate everyone who came out to meet teachers and learn more about the year ahead.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fall sports are rolling! More than 50% of our 9-12 students are participating in a fall sport. We are still gathering Junior High numbers, but we are excited about the level of student involvement.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A couple of important reminders:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The building opens for students at 7:35AM.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The office closes at 4:00PM.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please call the school with any changes to afternoon pick-up plans by 3:00PM so we have time to get the message to your student.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are glad you are a part of LCHS,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scott Carroll<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Principal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lake County High School<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sports Report<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Arlo Mudge took 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place out of 61 competitors in the HS golf tournament in Alamosa last Friday!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our first home high school volleyball game is TODAY- JV at 1 pm, Varsity at 2 pm. On the homepage, select the team you are looking for from the list on the left. Hint: you might have to scroll down to find what you&#8217;re looking for. When you click on a program, you will automatically be taken to the varsity level of that program. Click on the word Varsity at the top of the page and select the level you are looking for from the dropdown menu. Then click on Schedule to see and print the season&#8217;s schedule. You can also click the green Notifications button to select what notifications you would like to receive for your team. Click on the Panther head anytime to go back to the LCHS home page. Along the top of the home page, you can select Calendar to get a weekly or monthly view of everything going on at LCHS. There is a filter icon which allows you to select only the activities you are interested in on the calendar. Also at the top of the home page is a link for &#8220;Tickets.&#8221; Here you can purchase advance tickets for our home games.
