LCIS Community Meeting!
LCIS had the first Community Meeting of the 2016-2017 school year on Friday, September 16. The sixth grade class hosted and organized this assembly for the students, staff and families of LCIS. There were shout-outs for the cooks and custodians for taking such good care of us and to the 6th grade teachers for their lessons. It is amazing to watch the leadership skills of our students and the respect they demonstrate for each other. Part of every Community Meeting is our school cheer which was written by a fourth grade class last year. Here are the words:
(ALL) Our paws are high, our tails are low
and this is how the Panthers roll
(Girls) We show grit,
(Boys) we persevere
(Girls) We are curious,
(Boys) curious learners
(ALL) Our paws are high, our tails are low
and this is how the Panthers roll
(Girls) We are strong,
(Boys) strong in character
(Girls) We show respect,
(Boys) and responsibility
(ALL) We are the Panthers and this is how we ROAR!!!!
Come join us next month on October 21st at 8:15!
