LCSD Parent Information

Open and Optional LCSD Parent opportunity to meet with district administrators on Thursday:

LCSD parents are welcome to attend the large group meetings described below on Wednesday, April 10th. We also know that some parents might prefer a smaller format. Therefore, district administrators will also be available from 5-7pm on Thursday, April 11th in the library at Pitts Elementary School for any district parent who wants to stop by. Interpretation will be available.

This also enables parents to attend the Housing Coalition’s affordable housing design input event on Wednesday evening. More info about that event can be found here.

Resources for parents: Many parents have been asking for resources for talking about these issues with their children and for becoming more educated about child sexual abuse. Many experts have recommended the Darkness to Light curriculum. Their website has many resources:
https://www.d2l.org/get-help/ . We will also be working to provide ongoing support and education for all LCSD families on this important and difficult issue.
