Student and staff safety is our top priority in the Lake County School District. We partner very closely with local agencies in Lake County–including the Lake County Office of Emergency Management, Leadville Police Department and Lake County Sheriff’s Office–on our safety efforts. Every fall we provide information to parents on our school safety practices. Links to this information are provided below. You can find more information about the best practices we use for training and response (the Standard Response Protocol and the Standard Reunification Protocol) by visiting the I Love You Guys Foundation.
