Look for a new “Explore Your Community” activity in your preschool child’s cubby
The Center’s new Explore Your Community project encourages families of preschoolers to visit Fire on the Mountain and paint one free ornament.
Just take the “passport” you will find in your child’s cubby to the ceramic painting studio at 715 Harrison Avenue anytime between November 15 and January 6 during Fire on the Mountain’s regular business hours. They will give you a free ornament for your preschool child to paint. If other family members want to join in the fun, there are many other objects available to to purchase and paint for as low as $1.
After you paint your ornament, it will be fired in the kiln and available for you to pick up in about a week.
While you are they, have your “passport” stamped, then return to The Center for a free book for your child.
We hope you enjoy this opportunity to “Explore Your Community”. Please see Mary in Room 9 with any questions you may have.
Happy painting!
