Preschool families can “Explore Your Community” at the Aquatic Center
Watch your child’s backpack for the first “Explore Your Community” passport of the new year.
This passport provides FREE admission to the Lake County Recreation Department Aquatic Center for your preschool child and up to 3 other immediate family members.
(Admission for additional people is $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for ages 5-12, and $2.00 for ages 1-5. Children under age 1 are free.)
Just bring the passport to the swimming pool and present it for free admission for one visit between September 15 and October 15, 2020.
Ask at the front desk to have this booklet and return it to school for a free book for your child.
The swimming pool at the Aquatic Center is located at 1000 West 6th Street, in the same building as Lake County Intermediate School.
The pool is open for families: Monday through Friday—3pm to 7 pm and Saturday—10am to 3pm. For the most up to date schedules and health practices, please visit their website at http://www.lakecountyco.com/recreation/AquaticCenter
You are welcome to visit the pool during any open hours but be prepared to wait for a few minutes if the pool is at capacity per Public Health Department distancing requirements.
Also, you will need to select an area (such as the shallow end, the deep end, or the hot tub) and stay there with your family unit or be flexible on working out switching with another family unit (who may or may not be using the Passport program).
Please call the aquatic center at 486-6986 or Ms. Mary at The Center at 486-6927 for more information.
