The Center has gear for winter fun available for preschool families to borrow
The Family Resource Office a great library of gear that families at The Center can checkout to have some snowtime fun!
When the tubing hill and the ice rink open, you can borrow a sledding tube or some tiny ice skates to visit those places and try out some new skills.
This year, we have added some new items, such as snow fort building tools and indoor snowball fights to the library.
These new items were purchased with money from a grant given to us by Copper Mountain through the Lake County Community Fund. The funds were originally to support the Learn-to-Ski program. Since restrictions on ski lessons unfortunately cancelled that program this year, we were able to use the money to add these items and provide a special snow fun surprise coming up in January.
If you would like to checkout these or any other items from the Resource Library, please contact Ms. Lisa at lroeder@lakecountyschools.net or 719-486-6928. We can have them ready for you when you pick up your child or even send things home with them on the bus.
Other items in the Resource Library include cooking kits, board games, potty training gear, and literacy kits.
We hope you will checkout out what we have available to you and enjoy a new adventure!
