Lost items in preschoolers’ backpacks
Have you ever found unfamiliar mittens in your child’s coat pockets?
Have any other items of clothing come home in your child’s backpack that you know are not yours?
At The Center, we make every effort to keep track of all of the belongings of every child.
Since we also encourage children to learn how to put on their own snow gear and fill their own backpacks at the end of the school day, occasionally some items do get misplaced.
We never mean to create extra work for you, but please do send back things that you might find in your child’s backpack that do not belong there.
They do belong to someone else who is looking for them.
Also, we have extra clothing children can use when they children get messy and need to change or they forget an item of snow gear.
When you launder and return these “loaners”, it means we always have a good supply to make sure kids have what they need when accidents happen.
Thanks for your help to return lost items to their rightful owners.
