Apply now for fall 2021 preschool spots at The Center

Now is the time to submit applications for fall spots in all preschool programs at The Center.

All applications are evaluated for eligibility in every preschool program, including Head Start, Colorado Preschool Program, and tuition based preschool. Our goalis to provide the most affordable options for every family.

Our early childhood programs are moving to the brand new Lake County Elementary School building for fall. We have the opportunity to open two new preschool classrooms in October, if there is a need. In order to move forward with plans for opening the two new rooms, we must know there will be enough children to fill them. The sooner we can identify this need, the sooner we can move forward.

So far, we have received fewer than 60 applications for preschool spots for this fall. Our six existing classrooms are designed for 16 children in each room and will provide enough space for 96 three- and four-year-old children.

If you have a child who will be three or four years old by October 1, 2021, please complete and submit an application for preschool before the May 30th deadline. If you know other families interested in preschool, please encourage them to do the same. The number of applications we receive by the deadline will be a big factor in how we proceed with plans for the fall. Applications will continue to be accepted after that date, but the availability of spots will be much more limited.
