There is still time to apply for preschool spots at The Center for fall 2021
There is still time to submit applications for fall spots in all preschool programs at The Center. The deadline to be included in the first selection is May 30. It’s coming up soon.
All applications are evaluated for eligibility in every preschool program, including Head Start, Colorado Preschool Program, and tuition based preschool. Our goal is to provide the most affordable options for every family.
Our early childhood programs are moving to the brand new Lake County Elementary School building for fall. We have the opportunity to open two new preschool classrooms in October, if there is a need.
So far, we have received 67 applications for preschool spots for this fall. Our six existing classrooms are designed for 16 children in each room and provide enough space for 96 three- and four-year-old children.
If you have a child who will be three or four years old by October 1, 2021, please complete and submit an application for preschool before the May 30th deadline. If you know other families interested in preschool, please encourage them to do the same. The number of applications we receive by the deadline is a big factor in how we proceed with plans for the fall. Applications will continue to be accepted after that date, but the availability of spots will be more limited.
