Applications for all preschool programs for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year are now available.

Paper applications are available in person at The Center at 130 W. 12th Street in Leadville.
Children who will be three or four years old by October 1, 2022 are age-eligible for preschool. The other factors for eligibility in Head Start are described in our policies for Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, and Attendance (ERSEA) which can be viewed and downloaded here. Other free and low-cost programs and services to children with special needs have other eligibility criteria. Tuition based preschool and childcare spots are also available.

The Center generally operates with a wait list, so families are encouraged to complete and submit their paperwork as soon as possible for the best chance at obtaining a spot.
