Dear Parents of Students at The Center:
This letter is intended to communicate return to school information for families of The Center students. We would first like to send our appreciation for the support we received as we had to pursue the unfortunate temporary closure at The Center in response to the health and wellbeing of individuals as it relates to COVID-19. We appreciate the understanding of our families and the response received during this time.
In the coming weeks, different classrooms will have different return dates . We will be able to welcome back three classrooms at The Center on Monday September 21st, and anticipate a return for all students on Monday September 28th.
The classroom for your child in Room 4, 7 or 8 , are set to return to school on Monday, September 21st.
For the week of September 21st, students that participate in before/after school care will have adjusted hours. Before school care will continue to be offered with a 7:30 AM start time. However, our afterschool care for the week of September 21st will end at 4:00 PM. Beginning the week of September 28th, our afterschool care will return to the normal closure time of 5:00 PM.
All classrooms are anticipated to be open the week of Monday, September 28th and normal schedules will resume. As we return, we will continue our health-related protocols and practices and will continue to be diligent in these practices. We are considering how we might fine tune these efforts to limit future exposures.
Again, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked through LCSD’s first impacts related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
