Happy Halloween, CCHS Families!

It’s hard to believe that we are already entering November and nearing the end of our first semester. Our students have been working diligently in their courses, showcasing their learning and competencies in their portfolios. As we continue forward, here are some important updates and reminders.

Workforce Boot Camp Day: Thursday, November 14

On Thursday, November 14, 2024, we will be holding another Workforce Boot Camp Day, and all students are expected to attend. This month, we are heading to Maysville Fire Camp to explore career possibilities in fire prevention and firefighting. Students will gain valuable insights into the crucial work firefighters do to keep communities safe.

Waivers are required for this field trip—students should be bringing these home to get signed by a parent or guardian. See the attached waiver.

CCHS Application Now Open!

We are excited to announce that the Cloud City High School application is now open through Thursday, November 14. Please sharethis information with any high school students who might benefit from our unique, supportive environment to complete their high school education and graduate. We welcome all students who are seeking an alternative setting that qualify with the required risk factors.

Parent/Guardian Survey Reminder

To the parents and guardians who have not completed the CCHS Parent Survey yet, please take a few minutes to fill it out by the end of next week. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we strive to improve and enhance the learning experience for all students.
