Hello, Cloud City Families!

It’s hard to believe, but there are only five weeks remaining in the semester! As the weather shifts, we encourage students to plan ahead to ensure they arrive at school on time. For the past two weeks, only a small handful of students have been arriving at our scheduled start time of 8:25 a.m., and our teachers are eager to make the most of every minute with students. We provide transportation beginning at 8:00 a.m. and appreciate your efforts to help your student arrive on time. Also, please call or leave a voicemail if you know your child will not be attending for any reason, 719-486-6980.

Workforce Boot Camp – Thursday, November 14 Colorado Fire Camp Fieldwork Note attached here

Next Thursday, we’re excited to bring our students to Colorado Fire Camp in Salida for our monthly Workforce Boot Camp! Students will learn about various careers related to fire services and environmental conservation. Attendance is required for all students, so please make sure your child is prepared. Additionally, a signed release form, attached here, is required for participation. Please ask your student for the form, sign it, and have it returned as soon as possible. We’ll reach out to families on Monday for any missing forms.

Thanksgiving Lunch – Wednesday, November 20

We warmly invite you to join us for Thanksgiving lunch on Wednesday, November 20th, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. Please RSVP by Monday, November 18th, by calling Leslee at 719-486-6980 in the office. This helps our kitchen staff ensure we have enough food prepared for everyone.
