Dear Cloud City High School Families,
February has been a challenging month, with many students out due to illness. To help minimize the spread of germs, please ensure that proper precautions are being taken, such as frequent handwashing and disinfecting commonly touched surfaces. Most students have already exceeded their allowable absences for the school year. Parents and guardians, if your child is too sick to attend school, please take them to a doctor and provide a doctor’s note for the absence.
We have two weeks of valuable instruction time remaining before spring break—students, make every second count!
Post-Secondary Prep Thursdays Update
For the next few weeks, we’re making some adjustments to our Post-Secondary Prep Thursdays:
- Morning Sessions: Small groups of students will work on completing essential portfolio pages from previous classes. This is especially important for those planning to graduate in June.
- Off-Campus Activities: Students who do not need to complete portfolio work will participate in activities with our community partners, including C4, the Fish Hatchery, Full Circle, GOL!, and CMC.
