LCES Parent Update 6/3/22
LCES Families,
What an awesome week this week at LCES! Our first graders had their field work trip to Hayden Meadows on Tuesday. Here are some highlights from the day:
We also had a great time on Friday congratulating our graduating class of 2022! The seniors came to the building and shared great advice with the students on following your dreams and being true to yourself. Then our K-2 students sang the song “Big Dreams” to the seniors. It was great to be able to honor our seniors’ accomplishment and to show our students where they will be in a few short years.
2nd Grade Students to Visit LCIS:
On June 7th, our 2nd grade students will be traveling to LCIS to see the school and meet teachers. It’s an exciting time for these students as they prepare to transition to a new building next year.
Field Day:
Field day for K-2 students is on June 8th. Please be sure to send your student with a water bottle, sunscreen, layers depending on weather, and closed toed running shoes.
Field Day 2022
On Wednesday June 8th, Lake County Elementary School will be having Field Day!! Parents are invited come and cheer on your student. We ask that if you attend, please check in at the office before joining us on the skyline field (across from the school). We ask that students stay in school after their field day events.
Field Day will be held at the Skyline Field (across from the school). If the weather is bad, we will move field day activities inside and times will change.
Kindergarten – 8:30 – 9:30
1st & 2nd – 9:45 – 12:00

We will start in the gym at 1:00 for whole school awards and then classes will have their individual class awards.
