LCHS State Testing is Next Week
Dear Parent/Guardian of a 7th-12th Grade Lake County High School Student,
Spring is upon us and brings our state testing window. We will be completing the majority of the testing next week. Please find below a schedule of when testing will be administered.
Today, April 3rd, we will be sending home PSAT/SAT student handbook guides with 10th and 11h graders, along with parent consent forms to have more opportunities through the College Board. College board offers students assistance with PSAT and SAT score distribution to colleges. This form must be signed and returned by Tuesday 4/4/23 for 11th grade and Wednesday 4/5/23 for 10th in order for students to complete the additional, optional, information.

April 12Th, our 11th graders will take the SAT. We are asking for no 9th, 10th or 12th graders to attend school on this day and join their classes through Google meets. Crew will be at its normal time for grades 9 & 10 through Google Meet. There will be asynchronous work due for grades 9, 10, and 12 on this day. 11th graders will be dismissed upon completion of the SAT. Estimated time of release will be 12:30 pm.
April 13th, our 9th and 10th Graders will take the PSAT. We are asking that no 11th or 12th graders attend school on this day and students will join their classes through Google meets. 9th & 10th graders will be released after complete testing on Thursday. Estimated time of dismissal will be 12:30 pm.
Students in Grades 7th and 8th will need to be in school every day and will not have an early release. Please remind your student to bring their chrome book each day.
Students in Grades 9, 10 and 11, who have testing accommodations will be required to attend on both April 12th and 13th. Students with accommodations will be notified and will be released early from school both days.
