CCHS News and Announcements
Greetings Cloud City Families,
We hope this newsletter finds you well and ready for the exciting activities lined up for the new semester. As school resumes this week, we want to update you on some important events and share highlights from recent happenings.
- Workforce Boot Camp Day (Monday): This coming Monday marks the Workforce Boot Camp Day for all students in the class. It’s crucial that all participants arrive promptly at 8:30 AM, and the session will run until 4:00 PM. This day sets the tone for the semester, and your child’s attendance is highly encouraged.
- Regular Schedule Starts Tuesday: Starting Tuesday, students will resume their normal schedules. For those enrolled in CMC class, your sessions will begin next week. Punctuality is of utmost importance, and we kindly request parents’ cooperation in ensuring their children arrive on time for their classes.
- Community Engagement: Before the holiday break, CCHS had the privilege of participating in a volunteer initiative at the Elks Lodge. Together with students, staff, and their families, we filled family gift boxes for community members in need. We’re delighted to share that the Elks Lodge, in their generosity, donated $700 to support CCHS. A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved and a special shout-out to the Elks Lodge for their significant contribution.
- Family Community Dinner: We extend our gratitude to the students who dedicated their time and effort to prepare a delightful Family Community Dinner. A big thank you to all the families who joined us for this wonderful evening. The positive response encourages us to organize more events like this in the future, fostering a sense of community and shared experiences.
- Attendance Matters: We’ve observed a few instances of absenteeism this week without prior communication from parents. Timely communication is essential in such situations, and we appreciate your cooperation in ensuring your child attends classes regularly. Being on time also contributes to a positive learning environment for all students.
As we embark on the new semester, we look forward to continued collaboration between our school and the community. Your support is invaluable in creating a nurturing educational environment for all our students.
Wishing you a successful and fulfilling semester ahead!
Warm regards,
