Hello Families,
It’s been another great week as we continue to count down the days we have left of school–11 Days. Please be sure to check the calendar section for all the upcoming end of year activities and events.
Please remember that we do not have school on Monday, May 27th in honor of Memorial Day.
On Wednesday, May 29th we have a special kindergarten transition event planned for our current preschool students who will be attending kindergarten in the fall. In the morning, they will get to meet their new kindergarten teacher and spend time with their new crew of students. If your preschooler is attending kindergarten next year be sure to ask them all about their new crew and teacher!

Each week this year in family communication, we will be highlighting a staff member in the building. If you want, please feel free to send emails, handwritten notes, or letters of encouragement to that staff member.
Ms. Tyra, Ms. Amie, Ms. Maria- PK Support Staff
Ms. Tyra grew up in Leadville and has always enjoyed helping kids and giving them a good academic experience. Ms. Tyra’s dream vacation would be to visit Hawaii. She loves to sing, do art, and travel.
Ms. Amie grew up in Leadville and is a big Rockies and Broncos fan. She enjoys going on walks, listening to music, and going to the movies. Ms. Amie is inspired by her parents and grandparents as they’ve shown her how to work hard and push herself.
Ms. Maria grew up in Mexico and is inspired by her family. She would love to visit Paris or Mexico as her dream vacation. In her spare time, Ms. Maria enjoys going on walks and eating yummy food.
Thank you Ms. Tyra, Ms. Amie, and Ms. Maria for the work you do each and everyday for The Center!

If your child will be enrolling in The Center for the 2024-2025 school, and will turn four by October 1, 2024 or is 3 and has an Individual Education Plan(IEP) please use this link to complete your application for the Universal Preschool Program. The last day of Project Dream programs for the school year will be June 7th!
