News From LCHS 4/18/25
Dear LCHS Families,
This past week we had the opportunity to celebrate our graduating seniors at our scholarship night. Our seniors were awarded 2.4 MILLION dollars in scholarships!
The evening was wonderful to honor academic success and celebrate our community. Each scholarship awarded represents not only the hard work of our students but also the belief and generosity of individuals, families, businesses, and organizations who have invested in their future. Thank-you to everyone who has supported our students throughout their high school experience.
We hope that you can join us for our second State of the Schools on Monday, April 21st at 6PM at LCES.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend,
Scott Carroll
Principal

The application window for spring mountain biking is open April 22nd through May 5th. Check out Overview — Cloud City Mountain Sports or email katie@cloudcitymountainsports.org for more details.

Note from Colleen Nielsen, District Nurse
Colorado has had its first reported Measles case this week. Measles is more than just a rash. It is a serious respiratory illness that can cause lifelong problems like hearing loss, brain damage, and even death. Measles is preventable with a vaccine. Please reach out to your provider to check on your student’s vaccination status. If measles was to be found in our student population, your student will be excluded if not fully vaccinated. If you have questions, please email me at cnielsen@lakecountyschools.net
