7th Grade Field Trip 5/28/25
Dear LCHS Families,
We are excited to share that on Tuesday, May 28th, all 7th grade students will participate in a Cornerstone Field Trip. This full-day outdoor experience is designed to strengthen relationships, explore local environments, and connect students with our community partners and LCHS staff.
Trip Overview
Students will be split into two rotation groups and spend the day in two outdoor locations:
- Get Outdoors Leadville (GOL) Campus
- Activities include biking on the CMC trails and participating in campsite-based experiences in the woods behind GOL. These activities will be led by GOL staff.
- Hayden Meadows
- Students will participate in fishing and a river walk led by biologists and educators from Full Circle, Colorado Parks & Wildlife, and the U.S. Forest Service.
Each group will switch locations mid-day after lunch.
