News from LCHS
Reminders: No school on Monday, September 2nd, Labor Day Holiday
Project Dream after-school programs begin on Tuesday, September 3rd.
Please join us for one of our Back to School Nights. We will be presenting on two different nights, one in English and one in Spanish. For English, come on Wednesday, September 4th from 7-8pm. For Spanish, come on Thursday, September 5th from 7-8pm. The purpose of our Back to School Night presentation is to give you important information about our programming (like our graduation pathways and partnership with CMC), as well as some of our policies (like attendance and grades). We hope this will help you better support your child through his or her years with us, as well as strengthen our partnerships with one another. The presentation will be in the high school auditorium. We hope you will join us.
Sincerely,
Ben Cairns
LCHS Principal
On September 13, 2019 and throughout the year there may be photographers in our building to capture photos and/or video of LCSD students. These photos may be used on our website, social media channels, or in printed district materials.
If you have not turned in a completed and signed Free and Reduced School Meals application (the yellow form you received in your packet), please return one as soon as possible to Leslee Torsell at the LCHS front office. Use this link for instructions and if you need a blank school meals form to complete: https://www.lakecountyschools.net/for-families/nutrition/nutrition-application/
Safety Message from St. Vincent Hospital
Construction of a new hospital has begun near the high school. To reduce congestion, for your safety and the safety of others, do not use the hospital parking lot for school parking at any time. Also, the hospital parking lots are not through streets. Please do not cut through the hospital parking lots between 4th St. and 6th St.
We look forward to a safe construction project, thank you for your cooperation!
