Coach Amy Peters Named Frontier League Coach of the Year Again!!

For the second year in a row, High School Track and Field coach Amy Peters has been named Frontier League Coach of the Year!!

Coach Peters had this to say about the honor:

Only head coaches have the opportunity to win the award, but I consider it an honor for our entire coaching staff.  Our team success has come because of the contributions of each of our coaches and how well we work together.  Jamie is especially deserving of the honor, as he pours more of himself into coaching than anyone else.

We were chosen as Coach of the Year of the girls’ teams, which was a little surprising.  We probably expected to be the boys coach of the year because that is the team that won the title, but I think that being named girls coach of the year is a testament to the improvements of our girls, who have done some exciting things this year!
