Ready for Preschool, How to Apply?
Inviting all families! Preschool enrollment for the 26-27 school year is now open. If your child is going to be 3 or 4 by October 1, 2026, our program is for you! Here are the steps to our process.
- Complete our application.
- Pick up a paper copy at Lake County Elementary School in the main office
- Visit our website for a printable and fillable option
- Reach out to Tanya Lenhard, our Director, or Marissa Martinez, our Assistant Director to have one emailed to you.

- Return the application to our program.
- Drop it off at Lake County Elementary School in the main office
- Email your completed application to one of the above email addresses.
- Attend a round up night! We can help you with the entire process.
- March 31 5-7pm at the Lake County Elementary School, Preschool Entrance
- April 22 5-7pm at the Lake County Elementary School, Preschool Entrance
We offer a variety of programming including:
- Head Start – a federally funded, no cost programming for families that qualify
- Colorado Universal Preschool Program (UPK) – state funded programming offering 15 hours of tuition free preschool to all 4 year olds
- Children with Special Needs – services and programming for children qualifying for an IEP
- Tuition Based Preschool – full and discounted tuition options available
