Cloud City High School Family Newsletter
State testing is almost complete! This week, students participated in the PSAT and SAT. If your child missed any of these exams, they will be scheduled for a make-up session next week.
On Wednesday, students attended our Workforce Boot Camp career tour at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge. During this experience, they explored career pathways in culinary arts, healthcare, and business. We extend our sincere thanks to CMC for hosting our students and providing such valuable opportunities.
Looking ahead, Scholarship Night will be held on Tuesday, April 21st at 7:00 PM at LCHS. Graduates will be recognized with local scholarships. We encourage all potential graduates and their families to attend and celebrate these achievements together.
Prom will take place on May 2nd at 7:00 PM at the Elks Lodge for students in grades 11 and 12. If students plan to bring a guest who is in grades 9–10 or not an LCDS student, a completed dance pass must be submitted to the office before or on April 29. You may ask Cathleen in the office for this pass.
Finally, the second graduation check will take place on April 23rd. Families of students who are either on track or not on track to graduate in June should expect communication from their student’s Crew Teacher with updates on progress.
