Cloud City High School Family Newsletter
We are currently in our state testing window. All 11th grade students were expected to attend school on April 9th to complete the two Science CMAS exams. We are excited that we had 100% of these students complete their exam on this day.
We have a very busy upcoming week with a few important schedule adjustments:
* Wednesday, April 15 – Workforce Boot Camp Day
All students are required to attend the full day and arrive no later than 8:25 AM.
Students will travel to Colorado Mountain College – Breckenridge to explore a variety of career pathways, including culinary arts, nursing, outdoor recreation leadership, and early childhood education. Even if these pathways are not a current interest, this is a valuable opportunity for exposure and future planning.
* Thursday, April 16 – Testing Day (PSAT10/SAT)
All 10th and 11th grade students must arrive by 8:25 AM to take the PSAT10 or SAT.
After testing, students will receive a grab-and-go lunch and will be dismissed for the remainder of the day. 12th grade students are not required to attend on this day unless they have made prior arrangements with support staff. Seniors, we hope you plan something memorable with your time!
** Attendance Reminder
We cannot emphasize enough the importance of attendance. It is critical that students arrive on time and attend all scheduled classes, especially during this important testing period.
Looking ahead:
* Scholarship Night will be held on Tuesday, April 21st from 7:00–8:30 PM at LCHS.
* Second Graduation Check will take place on Thursday, April 23rd. Crew teachers will be reaching out (if they haven’t already) with updates on your student’s progress toward graduation.
