* News from our principal, Katherine Kerrigan *
This week, students who have been attending and keeping up with their coursework have the opportunity to finalize their fifth unit of study in each class. Students should also be adding their completed artifacts and CERFFs to their portfolios to showcase their learning and progress. New units begin on Monday, so this is a great time to finish strong and prepare for the next round of learning!
CCHS hosted a table at Main Street’s Trick or Treat Street. A special thank-you to Cassidy and Luna for giving their time and service to represent our school and connect with the community!
Our students are also supporting St. George through a service-learning food drive. Donation boxes are available at CCHS, LCHS, LCES, and the school district office during regular business hours. Donations may also be dropped off directly at St. George. We welcome canned and packaged nonperishable foods, with the greatest need for:
Canned corn
Canned soups
Canned fruit
Instant soups
Please see the attached flyer for more information. Every donation helps, and we appreciate your support as students work together to meet a need in our community.
With temperatures dropping and frost forming on vehicles, students should plan extra time each morning to scrape their windows and arrive safely and on time for class. Taking a few extra minutes to prepare can help everyone start the school day ready to learn.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and CCHS!
