* News from our principal, Katherine Kerrigan *
What a wonderful opportunity our students had to visit Colorado State University in Fort Collins! We want to thank CSU for hosting our Work-Based Learning (WBL) Day and providing a charter bus to transport us there and back. This experience offered valuable learning and helped students explore career and education pathways they can pursue after graduation.
Trick or Treat Street is this Sunday, October 25! Several students have signed up to earn service learning hours by helping Ms. Kerrigan at our table. Students who signed up should arrive at noon and plan to stay until a little after 3:00 p.m. to support the event and help wrap up.
As part of our CCHS service learning project, we are collecting food donations for the local food bank at St. George’s. Their most-needed items include canned corn, canned soups, canned fruit, and instant soups. We will have a donation box at Trick or Treat Street for anyone who would like to contribute. Donations can also be dropped off at CCHS throughout the remainder of October and all of November. Thank you for helping our students support our community!
Please join us in congratulating Luna Casas Moreno, our September Student of the Month! Luna has demonstrated determination and dedication to completing her work while showing kindness to others. We are proud of her efforts! Stay tuned to find out who will be named October’s Student of the Month.
Thank you for your continued support of our students and CCHS. Please reach out if you have any questions!
